Training is free and open to participants age 16 and older.
Instruction combines classroom learning with hands-on practice and team exercises.
Learn how hazards affect local communities and how to prepare before an emergency occurs.
Understand team structure, decision-making, documentation, and coordination.
Practice basic assessment, triage concepts, and safe care in a disaster setting.
Recognize hazards, understand utility controls, and learn safe fire-suppression principles.
Apply size-up, search, and rescue techniques while keeping responder safety first.
Recognize stress responses and learn approaches that support survivors and volunteers.
