Our accessibility goal
This website is designed toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is reviewed as content and features are added.
Measures we take
- Use semantic headings, landmarks, lists, links, and address information.
- Support keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
- Use responsive layouts, readable text, sufficient color contrast, and large interactive targets.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and hide decorative images from assistive technology.
- Limit JavaScript and avoid content that flashes or automatically plays.
- Open external resources predictably and identify new-tab behavior for screen-reader users.
Known limitations
Some linked documents and third-party websites are not controlled by Menifee CERT and may not meet the same accessibility standard. The downloadable training flyer or training manual may have accessibility limitations. If you need information from a document in another format, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to provide an accessible alternative.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need content in another format, email Menifee.Cert.Central@gmail.com. Please include the page or document involved, the problem you encountered, and your preferred way to receive the information.
Assessment approach
Accessibility is assessed through self-evaluation of the site’s templates, content structure, keyboard behavior, responsive presentation, and common automated checks. This statement does not claim that third-party destinations linked from the website conform to WCAG.
